Amolto and Skype for Business

Last year, Microsoft announced the release of a new service which is called Skype for Business. Classical Skype is great for home and work and lets users connect with millions of people to grow their business. Skype for Business is more suitable for business users. This servise gives users enterprise-grade security, allows to manage employee accounts, and is integrated into Office 365 apps. Skype for Business can simplify your infrastructure with one platform for calling, conferencing, video, and sharing. If you’re a regular user of the classical Skype client, then Skype for Business will seem very familiar: the Contacts list, presence indicators, buttons and icons, and even the app sounds should make you feel right at home:

A lot of our users decided to move to Skype for Business. Starting with version 3.0, Amolto supports Skype for Business as well as the classical Skype. Amolto Call Recorder for Skype is the first recording software that supports all types of Skype for Business audio/video communications:

  • Skype for Business meetings;
  • Peer to peer calls;
  • Calls from Skype for Business to the classical Skype;
  • Calls to landline/mobile phones

If you are using Amolto with Skype for Business, we recommend to set the following recording rule:

Ask for action

Ask for action

In this case, you can only record the conversations that you want (to save space on your hard disk).
